Terms of Service

Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using Sleep Scene, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Apple Media Services terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sleep Scene.

Who may use Sleep Scene

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If local law requires a higher age, that higher age applies.

Wellness, not medical care

Sleep Scene supports rest and relaxation. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service. Sleep Scene does not guarantee sleep or any health outcome. Seek qualified medical advice for sleep problems or other health concerns.

License

Sleep Scene grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple usage rules. The app is licensed, not sold.

Subscriptions and trials

• Prices, billing periods, and trial terms are shown in the App Store purchase screen before you confirm.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before renewal, subject to the timing shown by Apple.
• If a trial converts to a paid subscription, Apple charges the displayed price unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Apple manages billing, cancellation, and eligible refund requests.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use Sleep Scene unlawfully or to harm, harass, or infringe the rights of another person.
• Copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or bypass technical protections except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Interfere with the app, website, audio delivery, or security.
• Use Sleep Scene while driving or in another situation where reduced awareness could create danger.

Content and intellectual property

Sleep Scene, its interface, branding, software, scene logic, and included audio are owned by Sleep Scene or licensed to it. Third-party audio and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. You retain rights in the words you enter, and you grant Sleep Scene only the rights needed to process them for the requested feature.

Availability and changes

Features may vary by device, operating system, region, subscription, and Apple service availability. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will not intentionally remove paid access in a way that violates applicable consumer law.

Third-party services

Sleep Scene relies on Apple services for distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and certain on-device technologies. RevenueCat helps us present subscription options and manage subscription access. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple terms and policies.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sleep Scene is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We disclaim warranties that may legally be disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sleep Scene will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Sleep Scene at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms or if necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.

Governing rights

Applicable law governs these Terms without limiting mandatory consumer rights available where you live. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

Apple terms

Apple is not responsible for Sleep Scene or its content. Where Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, it supplements these Terms. You can review it at apple.com/legal.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Questions may be sent to hello@sleepscene.app.
